Silo Vista Media LLC ("SiloVista", "we", "us", or "our") operates the SiloVista photo-sharing platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
By using SiloVista you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. For our terms of use, see our Terms & Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an Admin account, we collect your email address. We do not collect passwords — authentication uses a one-time magic link sent to your email.
Event and guest data. Admins create events and invite guests. We store event names, dates, and settings; guest display names and email addresses where provided; photos and captions uploaded to each event; and invite link usage records.
Usage data. We log technical request data — IP address, browser type, page visited, and timestamp — for debugging and security purposes. This data is not shared with third parties.
Payment data. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe collects and stores your payment card details directly. We never see or store your full card number. We receive from Stripe only what is needed to manage your subscription: status, renewal date, and the last 4 digits of your card for display purposes. 2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain the SiloVista platform
- Authenticate you and your guests via magic-link emails and event PINs
- Display and serve uploaded photos within your event
- Process payments and manage your subscription plan
- Send transactional emails (login links, guest invitations, billing receipts)
- Investigate errors and improve the service
We do not use your data or your guests' data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following providers solely to operate the Service:

Each provider operates under its own data processing agreements and privacy policies. We require that they maintain appropriate security standards.
4. Cookies and Sessions
SiloVista uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in during your visit. This cookie contains no personal information — it is a random session identifier linked to server-side session data. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics platforms.
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
- Deleted events: Photos and associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days of event deletion.
- Closed accounts: All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure.
- Guest uploads: Guest photos belong to the event. When an Admin deletes an event or closes their account, guest photos are deleted along with all other event data.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can view all photos and events associated with your account from your Admin dashboard.
- Data portability: You can download all photos from any event using the bulk download feature.
- Deletion: You can delete individual events — and all their photos — from your dashboard. Account closure permanently removes all associated data within 30 days.
- Guest photo removal: Guests who have uploaded a photo may contact the event Admin to request its removal. Admins can delete any individual photo from the event management page.

7. Children's Privacy
SiloVista is not directed at children under 13. Admin accounts require users to be at least 18 years old. Guests may upload photos at events attended by minors only under the supervision of an Admin who accepts responsibility for appropriate use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
8. Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data:
- Photos are stored in Cloudflare R2, a secure cloud object storage service
- All traffic between your browser and SiloVista is encrypted using HTTPS
- Magic-link tokens are single-use and expire after 30 minutes
- Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and update our practices as threats evolve.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may also notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
